The measurements (9.5" x 13.5") include the outer seam of the mailer. It doesn't fit 8.5" x 11" paper stock.The envelopes are very nice, except I had to purchase additional tape to close them.Sorry, wrong company. These are good and much better than the last scam company i dealt withI was amazed by the quality of these mailers. They are super high quality and I will be ordering more.I ordered these to send gifts to my team and thought the gold look would make the receipt of the package more exciting. My team confirmed they loved getting the 'gold' package. The only concern was the envelop sticky panel didn't seem as secure as I wanted so I added tape. I also had trouble getting the address stickers to adhere and ended up taping those down too, just to make sure.I bought these 8 x 10 envelopes to send framed photos. My error I failed to include the frame in my measurements and so instead used them between the frames and along the side in a Flat Rate P.O. Box and felt very convident that my frames would travel well. I would buy them again but I would be very careful that to include an 8 x 10 photo's frame.Very thick and sturdy! Love these!This mailer is great shipping out the order in the bubble mailer. Customer loved itVery shiny, good for things like earrings, simple bracelets, keychains, etc.Envelopes look decent, but most importantly, exterior size was not 8.5" as advertised, but 7.5".Usable size was 6.5".
